What is your role at Adido?
My role is to help and assist with the on-going web projects within Adido. I do a variety of things such as respond to support tickets or perhaps some bug fixes. So far, every day is a surprise because there’s always something different to do!
What do you enjoy most about working at Adido?
I like the homely and relaxed atmosphere in the office - also the unlimited coffee that gets you through the day!
Where were you born? What brought you to Adido?
I was born in Cornwall which is quite far from here. I got here by moving away to university. Two years later I found out that I really like Bournemouth so I decided to stay!
What’s your favourite thing about Bournemouth?
I like the town. There are a lot of appealing places that you could go to over and over again. I’m from a small village so it’s great to finally live in a place that is lively.
Tell us something about you that your colleagues don’t know yet!
I like to go out and drink! Certainly, way more than my colleagues think!
What did you want to be when you were younger?
Like for most boys, I wanted to be a professional footballer but knew that was almost impossible. At the end of primary school, I started to gain an interest in gaming and computing. This passion grew over time and resulted in studying a software engineering degree.
Where in the world would you most like to visit and why?
I’ve always been a fan of the USA and would like to visit soon. I’ve been to quite a few places in Europe so next, it would be nice to go elsewhere.
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Has to be steak. I never get bored of eating it.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
I’ve always wanted to learn another language because I feel that this would be beneficial in the future.
What is the best piece of advice you have received?
“The grass isn’t always greener”. This has helped me with so many careful decisions that I have had to make.
What’s your party trick?
I am very hard to beat at beer pong
What are you afraid of?
At the weekend I love…
To go out with my friends and socialise
