Where were you born? What brought you to Adido?
I was born and grew up in Poole. I needed a new challenge after spending several years as a data analyst and was introduced to Adido through a friend.
Tell us something about you that your colleagues don't know yet!
I’m a bit of an audiophile which means I have a passion for the quality of music and an ever expanding collection of head phones.
What is your favourite tool to help with your job?
It would have to be Adwords Editor, being able to make batch changes speeds up PPC tasks no end.
What did you want to be when you were younger?
I think the first job I ever wanted was at the age of 5 or 6 and was to be a Fighter pilot. This was after going to the old Hurn airshow.
Where in the world would you most like to visit and why?
Thurso in Scotland, great surf, a nuclear power plant and aurora borealis if you’re lucky.
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Only one! Hmmm rib-eye steak with chips nothing comes close to a good steak.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
If I could learn anything it would be flying. I was given a flying lesson for my 30th birthday and it was truly one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had however at £80 a lesson it’s touch costly.
If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet?
Steve Jobs, I always wonder how he kept going after being forced out of Apple.
What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done?
Competing for a British title in Mixed Martial Arts that I’d failed to win 2 years before is the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Training twice per day and working full time was a challenge.
When was the last time you were nervous?
Starting at Adido because it was a complete career change for me coming from a technical support and data analysis back ground. That quickly changed as everyone made me feel very welcome.
At the weekend I love…
...training in MMA which means an early start on Saturday morning. Also exploring the Purbeck and Dorset coastline on Sunday afternoons.
What is your favourite film?
'Leon' is my favourite film it has an amazing cast (Jean Reno, Gary Oldman) and truly unique story.
