The 2015 Wirehive100 Awards celebrating the best in creative, marketing and technical talent were held on the 19 November. Adido was awarded ‘Best Use of Search’ for their marketing strategy for one of the UK’s largest independent suppliers of specialist building plastics, Professional Building Supplies.
The judges highlighted Adido’s innovative approach to the strategic direction of the campaign, which saw the agency achieve a 43% increase in annual revenue for the client. The digital agency was able to dominate search traffic in a very competitive environment by utilising imaginative marketing techniques, which left bigger budget DIY competitors trailing.
Adido was also a finalist in three other categories on the night; for the ‘Best Website’ categories in both B2C and B2B sectors, as well as having Suzana Bulearca, Head of Marketing, shortlisted for ‘Account Handler of the Year’.
At the awards, hosted at GLive in Guildford, Suzana said: ‘We’re really happy to have won this Wirehive100 award. But what I am really impressed by is the number of agencies from Dorset who have also been shortlisted. It shows that the area really is the place to choose for digital marketing, and gaining national recognition for its results. For Adido to be acknowledged as one of the best fills us with pride.”
The Wirehive100 awards honour the crème de la crème of digital across the South of England. Microsoft and Google are amongst the judges highlighting excellence in the region for both client projects and individual team members. Adido have been winners year-on-year, since the awards began in 2012, previously topping the ‘Fastest Growing Agency’ category and twice taking home ‘Best Use of Social Media’.
