Shawn leads the SEO team with a commercial-first mindset and a healthy intolerance for vanity metrics. His background covers SaaS, fintech, Web3 and travel where he’s built and rebuilt search strategies at scale, overseen multi-lingual site migrations and designed automations for use across many aspects of SEO.
With a keen interest in understanding the 'what and why' behind search engine results, he is particularly interested in semantic SEO, programmatic content, internal site architecture and conversion pathways.
Outside of work, he runs several side projects that are best described as 'chaotic', including the management of multiple YouTube channels. He is also a lighting designer for a touring production, a trained pyrotechnician and is far too keen to strip down in front of hundreds as part of a comedy wrestling act.
