We’re super excited to announce that we have been named as finalists in four categories at this year’s Wirehive 100 digital agency awards.

The Wirehive 100 awards honour the crème de la crème of digital across the South of England. Highlighting excellence in the region for both client projects and individual team members, Adido has featured as finalists and winners year-on-year, since the awards began in 2012.

This year we are nominated for the following awards:

  • Consumer site of the year – The Ageas Bowl
  • B2B site of the year – Waterlogic
  • Best use of search – Gutter Supplies
  • Account handler of the year – Suzana Bulearca

The ageas bowl: consumer site of the year

The Ageas Bowl is the picture-perfect home of Hampshire Cricket and required a website to portray all of its facilities. We developed a new website still cricket at its heart but simplifies the user experience and journey for visitors who may be interested in or not know of the other facilities.

Large navigation options and clear menus help communicate with different audience groups and guide the user to their desired interest. Comprehensive coverage of fixtures and results is delivered through integration with ‘Opta’ data, making the cricket page dynamically update with live score cards for fans to follow, and a context aware homepage to display the latest in-game information and statistics, updating every time the ball is bowled so the audience can enhance their experience with the venue.

Waterlogic: b2b site of the year

Waterlogic provide point-of-use water purification for the office and home. The challenge they gave to us was to create a user specific platform to support business growth and drive enquiries. The latest user-centric design and UX trends were employed to ensure a website that would stand out.

To create relevant content that is consistent to brand image, the customer service page supports user journeys by filtering options to customer type and needs; thus revealing specific pathways/routes to required destinations.

Gutter supplies: best use of search

Nominated for the results achieved through our search strategy. Gutter Supplies who provide plastic guttering, drainage and cladding products, focusing on top quality products and excellent customer service. Previous marketing activities had been sporadic and unsuccessful; the client was looking for a strategic partner to assist on the path for business growth, therefore the pressure was high for Adido to deliver tangible results.

Because the market was highly challenged and competitive, we needed to be smarter, more flexible and more valuable to the audience than our high-budget competitors.

SEO focused on both link/ on page/ content audits and clean-up activities, as well as innovative strategies that could transform a standard ecommerce business into the online one-stop-shop for products and information. We employed organic and paid social, Youtube ads and outreach techniques to amplify our content and build valuable and relevant links back to the websites.

Overall the business saw significant growth in revenue without ROI compromise, which has allowed for several investments outside of direct digital marketing in the form of expanding the internal marketing/ sales/ finance team, investing in 3 new websites in 2015 that are to deliver the most innovative digital solutions for the industry, expanding the business with two new warehouses, expanding the product offering with more innovative solutions. The relationship with Adido has been fully transformed into a strategic partnership based on collaboration and trust.

Account handler of the year: suzana bulearca

We have an amazing team here at Adido, and having seen the results for Gutter Supplies we had to nominate Suzana for her great work. She is an outstanding account handler, who has been put forward for this award for her sheer brilliance at managing clients, exceeding performance expectations, developing internal talent and pushing the boundaries of her own skills.

As a result of her tenacious attitude she has successfully improved the business performance of clients – generating them increased revenue, and also bringing further income to the agency. Suzana’s best practice Adwords and SEO approach delivered Gutter Supplies a 23% increase in total online business revenue.

The Adido team have worked with some amazing clients over the past year, so it was tough to decide what categories to enter, but we narrowed it down to some of our favourite projects.

The whole company are excited to hear the results that will be decided on 19th November 2015, when the elite of the digital industry descend to the state-of-the-art G-Live theatre in Guildford.

We are honoured to have been selected again having picked up awards over the past years for fastest growing agency and twice for best use of social media. Fingers crossed we will be taking home some silverware once again.
