What does a typical day involve?
In my role as Digital Content Executive at Adido, I am responsible for monitoring our digital channels as well as producing content for our website and amplification through other channels while also assisting with other marketing-related activities.
What do you enjoy most about working at Adido?
The sense of community around the office, it’s a real team ethos here, which makes it a great environment to work in.
Where were you born? What brought you to Adido?
I was born in Bristol before we moved to Bournemouth when I was young, after going to university up in London, where I studied a degree in Football Business and Marketing, I came home to find a role in Marketing and very much landed on my feet here at Adido.
What did you want to be when you were younger?
An Archeologist! I used to love Egyptology and Paleontology when I was younger.
Where in the world would you most like to visit and why?
I’d love to do a road trip through South America, including the Amazon Rainforest and the Andes. With very little light pollution, it's also a great place to see the Milky Way in the night sky.
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Sourdough Pizza topped with an unnecessarily huge pile of chorizo *Stomach Rumbles*
What is your favourite tool to help with your job?
My work at Adido involves a lot of content creation so I find Mindnode’s mind-mapping software invaluable in organising my thoughts for pieces of content and using them as a plan to follow.
Tell us something about you that your colleagues don’t know yet!
When I was a wee boy, shortly before Christmas, I chipped my two front teeth in half at Splashdown water park. To this day, and every year since my old man has woken me up on Christmas Day to the song ‘All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth’
If you could choose a superpower, what would it be and why?
Being Sensible I’d say hyper-intelligence, but my inner child says telekinesis so I could grab a beer from the fridge without missing a second of the football.
What's your party trick?
Some people can crack their knuckles, some their back, or even their neck, I, however, am blessed with the ability to crack my ears.
What is your favourite film?
This is tough, but at the moment I'd say it’s a toss-up between The Martian and Rush
What are you afraid of?
It’s quite unusual considering I’ve lived in a seaside town for most of my life, but I’ve never liked the sea.
