Get on your bike with Adido!
As some of you may know, Adido is working with the Youth Cancer Trust as part of our “Do Digital Better” rebrand. We looked for a charity that, like us, doesn’t rest on their successes but seeks to do better than the year, month and day before. The Youth Cancer Trust fit the bill in style, and we’re very proud to have started our fundraising efforts for them.
As part of our fundraising, we will be holding a charity bike ride on the 16th September 2011 at 3pm.
Who will be taking part in the charity bike ride?
Of course the Adido team are taking part, but we also have a lot of our clients, partners and friends joining the team as we aim to raise lots of wonger for the Youth Cancer Trust.
Where will the charity bike ride take place?
That all depends; you can either take the long course or the short one!
The Long Course:

We’ll meet and start at Bournemouth Pier at 3pm

We’ll then ride to Sandbanks
-
After that, we’ll ride all the way to Hengistbury Head

And back!
The Short Course:

Again, we’ll meet and start from the Pier at 3pm

We’ll ride to Sandbanks
-
And back!
Of course, we’ll be going for drinks afterwards. We think we’ll all have earned them!
Please note that because we’re riding on the promenade there will be speed restrictions of ten MPH.
Who is the Youth Cancer Trust?
The Youth Cancer Trust is a Bournemouth-based charity that specialises in providing young cancer suffers with a fun filled and friendly activity holiday. These activity holidays are very varied and inclusive, with youngsters doing things like rock climbing. Youngsters get a much needed and very well deserved break from their usual routine which can often be centred around their treatment. Parents get a welcome break as well and get the benefit of seeing their child happy and refreshed after an amazing activity holiday.
